Vision : The Department seeks to:

•  Develop the skills according to Modern principles of commerce and information technology;
•  Inculcate entrepreneur Skill for Self-Employment to strive for making students employable.

•  To nurture Employability skills relevant Commerce Sector

• This is the oldest  department  of the college
• The department has Post Graduate  facility  in business administration ( Special subject)
•  Department  has well maintained commerce lab
• 50 % student strength of  the  college  Shares by the department.
• Every Year Commerce Week is celebrated by the  department.
• The department has also provided text books for students with collaboration with Mitra
• Department has been given financial assistance by Mitra  (Savitri scholership)
• The department has conducted online Accountancy Quiz Competition and Computer based commerce quiz.
• The  department   encourage interdisciplinary  teaching learning  process
• Remarkable activities through two forums namely commerce forum   and consumer forum
